A beautiful nightmare

It was a Sunday night, March 10, 2013, when I complained to God because what happened on the entire day. It was Sunday, His very own day. Right after the service my bad vibes started. I became tired of the irritations that came through the week. I complained to Him that I’ve been His true follower. I did many things for others, I was been active in our church for months, yet, many things made me upset. I was oblivious that I slept through complaining.

I have dreamt something which scared me. I was at the center of a very dark forest. The shadows of the withered trees are visible. There were details that are blurred but some never leave my conscious mind, just like the unordinary animals that I’ve seen on the forest. They are not moving but they are alive. The bigger animal standing on the left is an elephant-like. It also has a long nose and the dirt is very visible on its pinkish white skin. The two llama-like animals on the center have the same skin as the elephant-like, naked from its fur.  On their right, there is a narrow way that only one person is fitted to go through it. I walked through it. While walking, I saw an animal as same as the llama-like animals I’ve seen on the first scene, but its skin was color grey. The place shifted from where I was. I was on the side of the road. There was a jeepney wherein some men are putting cement on its surface, and some are on the road. I wonder why they are doing it because it would just only make their jeepney heavy and it would be hard or the driver to drive. One of the men told me, if I want to leave and go to my destination, I should go to other way because I was just disturbing him while he is working. I obeyed him. When I got to other side, another man told me the same. I obeyed him also. While walking, I turned back my head and realized that those men directed me to the wrong way of my destination. I turned back and go to the REAL right way towards my destination. The place shifted into a serene green forest. It was day time but no sun is visible. Then it shifted again. I was on the same forest as I’ve seen on the first scene. The animals were in the same place but they were already dead. The elephant-like creature was stuck on the withered trees (whether it is tied by the rope or by the withered branches). The neck f the llama-like creatures were bent sideward (on the left) reaching the ground. There was a voice that told me if the neck of the llama-like creatures were bent sideward, it means they are already dead. The narrow way out from the forest was still visible. From that, the head of the sheep was zoomed. It was looking upward the light that shines through its face. It was gone. There was a banner and a rope (or yarn) on the table before the narrow way. The voice told me to fix the banner as fast as I can. The words I remembered written on it were “We” and “Jesus”. I successfully did it, and walked out from the dark forest. The scene shifted again. I was on a large Protestant Church. The people who go there don’t know each other. They were too many to memorize each other’s names.

Valenzuela Church of the Nazarene

Ptr. Marlon Dela CruzVerse: Matthew 5: 16 (Tagalog/English)

“In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

= Be Christ-like.

THEY are observing every Christian because they look for perfection like what they are expecting from us, as followers of Jesus Christ.

Paano natin Siya mapaglilingkuran?

A. Regular Church Attendance

There are Christians who are ashamed of praying in public.

Now ask yourself,

Ano ba ang pinapahalagahan mo?

Negosyo mo? Pag-aaral mo? Pera mo?

4. Pag-invite sa Church.

– Hindi malalaman ng tao na may care ka sakanila Spirituallykung hindi ka nagshe-share sa kanila ng inspirational thoughts or ibang mga bagay kung san pwedeng mabago yung point of view nila from wrong to right.

I Am But A Wanderer

I am but a wanderer

who lives earthly life to the fullest

not by means of achieving earthly wealth

but by being worthy for the borrowed life from the King.

I am but a wanderer

who is destined to rescue bewildered souls

used by the King as an instrument

‘coz it is my purpose to follow all His will.

I am but a wanderer

who is not ashamed of Him

I’ll shout His name with all my strength

behind those insulting smiles,

lurking in the shadows of Hell

I am but a wanderer

who shares the Word of God

and testifies His goodness

for both stubborn and righteous ones.

I am but a wanderer

an alien, a foreigner

and an informal settler of the Earth

because my True Home is Paradise.

Walk by Faith

2 Corinthians 5:7

Lahat ng tao may problema. Imposible namang wala diba? We should walk by faith in order for us to succeed in our lives.

3 things that involves in walking by FAITH:

  1. It involves obedience to the word of God.
  • Kay God nagsisimula ang tagumpay. Just like Abraham, who became successful, retained his relationship with God.
  • Know and believe God’s will. Read the Bible.
  • Follow His instructions. Going to Church is very important, pero mas important yung paglabas mula dito. It is because it shows how the Word of God is applied in our lives

2. It involves trust and faith. Faith requires trust.

  • Abraham trusted God when He promised that he will be having children as many as the stars in the sky. Matanda na sila ni Sara para magka-anak pa, but he still chose to trust God’s will. (♫♪all things are po-ssi-ble! ♪)
  • When God instructed him, Abraham offered his one and only beloved son, Isaac, because he trusts the Lord. Yung KAISA-ISANG anak mo, iaalay mo? Kaya mo ba ‘yun? See?

3. It involves devotion.

He will magically transform all the problems into blessings.

BE STRONG! Do not lose hope. Gayahin natin si Abraham. Let us follow God. Do not depend on our own capacities. God is the most powerful above all nations. He is the King of all Kings, why not trust Him? Let us praise Him during the ups and downs of our lives. Be still and live by Faith, not by sight☺
